Read for Free, well sort of…

I love to get something free and although Kindle Unlimited is $9.99 monthly the number of books borrowed makes the membership a bargain.

I’ve read a lot of wonderful books by Indie and established writers. Of course, also a few not so wonderful but I’m not going to go there. When I download one not to my taste, I just return the book after a few pages. No harm no foul.

Kindle Unlimited is beneficial to readers and writers. Molly Greene, author and blogger gives a great break down on Kindle Unlimited payouts. Although she contends it’s not a lot of dough, I’m impressed and glad to know I’m contributing to the success of writers when I read for free. You can read her blog post here.

I also wanted to share some great reads I’ve found through Kindle Unlimited.

And I rated with 5 stars5gold-star3

Enjoy…

Isabella: Braveheart of France
Colin Falconer (Author)

This is not my usual cup of tea, however I found the story intriguing and the ending a delight.

The Memory Closet
Ninie Hammon (Author)

I can’t say enough about how good this book is without gushing. As a writer I can only hope to string words, sentences and pages that will keep readers this engaged. I read Memory Closet in two days but would’ve read it in one day except life got in the way. It is so hard to put down so make sure you have lots of time once you pick this book.

How Hard Can It Be? (Handcuffs and Happily Ever Afters Book 1)
Robyn Peterman (Author)

I just spent a cold rainy day reading this outlandish, crazy, fun, irreverent, obscene and thoroughly enjoyable book. The ability to lead the reader down the yellow brick road, and make them soon believe the garish paint is a path paved with gold is true talent. The more outrageous Ms. Peterman’s story the more I wanted to believe. Hours later I’m still smiling. Fair warning, this book is not for prudes. So suspend your logic and bring a sense of humor when you curl up with How Hard Can It Be. [...]

Strikers
Ann Christy   (Author)

This is one of the most unusual dystopian YA books I’ve read. Different, unique and fast paced. However, warning, some Texans might take offence. I didn’t, I couldn’t put it down. Great read.

  1. This many books! I’m jealous. They all sound fabulous. Currently I are into Gone Girl and though it’s been two weeks, I still haven’t finished it. I must give up something to make more time for reading. But what. I love everything I do, except for the not-reading-enough problem. ❤
