Without you my year would’ve been very boring.

This year will be very special for our family. It will be the first time in over 3 years that my kids and grandkids will be in the same country for Christmas. To say I’m excited is an understatement!

But no matter the greeting, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy Hanukkah, Happy St. Lucia Day, Happy Ramadan or Eid, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Omisoka, or even a Joyous Yule Day, my wish is that you will have a safe and wonderful month of December.

May we have peace on earth, understanding and compassion for our fellow humans. How to say Merry Christmas around the world.

Thank you so much for making my year a great year!

From my house to yours, Happy Thanksgiving

Although, Thanksgiving is a US holiday, I hope my European friends will indulge me a bit for my holiday excitement.

This is a time to reflect, pause and enjoy good food, friends and family or that very special person in your life.

That’s what I will be doing today. Enjoying my special man, good food (pumpkin pie), good wine and relaxing in front of a roaring fire.

Oh, and one other thing!

I’ll be decorating for very special Christmas guests! I want my house to look like Santa’s workshop exploded.

That’s right! My oldest daughter and her family will be home from Paris, France. I can’t wait to have everyone together for the upcoming holidays. So I plan to go a little overboard.

I’ll post pictures next week!

Five grands, 2 daughters and 2 son-in-laws all together!

It’s been three years since we celebrated the holidays together and I’m over the top excited!

So to all my readers – Happy Thanksgiving, and Happy Holidays no matter where you are! Eat, drink and make love!

how did you do on your New Year’s resolutions these past 11.75 months?

Is there any leftover item to be carried over to 2015?

Time and Memory Slips Away

Oh my! Sometimes I’ve trouble remembering what I promised to do last week much less eleven months ago. Pushing back the cobwebs I seem to remember wanting to:

Lose weight, I gained weight,
Submit more stories than the previous year, I submitted less,
Read more, oh crap where did the year go…
Blog more, oops
Spend more time with friends and family, everybody is so damn busy – me included
