What does your signature look like?

Have you practiced signing books? Practiced your autograph?

Don't practice until you get it right... Unknown at Jean's Writing

I recently read a good article by Judith Briles on how to prepare for a book signing/author event.

Here’s what I learned from Ms. Briles about preparing for that big event.

  1. Hi Jean,
I was the guest speaker for an organization that meets at our church. After services, there was a potluck dinner, I made my presentation, and then did a book signing. There were over fifty in attendance and I sold over twenty books and signed them all. I wish I would have had your post prior to this event. I would have done things a little differently. Thank you for the information, I will keep it for future reference.
