Here’s hoping you have a wonderful holiday filled with reading

Are you looking for additional books to read by the fire?

I’ve found a new favorite book on writing. This is not a quick read, but it’s good information about the style of writing. Click on the image to read an excerpt from Amazon.com.

A couple of favorites I’m going to revisit. These images will take you to Amazon where you can read more about the books.

For entertainment, I’m gonna continue with the Outlander series.

I’m ready for book #6

What books are you reading this holiday?

Have you finished a really good one recently?

  1. I’ve always wanted to read Outlander by Diana Gabaldon but never have. I remember picking it up in a bookstore once and the weight and number of pages put me off at the time. I haven’t seen the series on Starz either.

I just purchased the Divergence series by Veronica Roth. I loved the first two movies.

    1. I also hope to read more books in 3 series I started reading this year: Book 3, The Black Fox by Gordon Bickerstaff (Lambeth Group Thriller), Book 2, She Lights Up the Dark by A. M. Manay (November Snow Series), and Book 3, The One Betrayed by Yvette M. Calleiro (Chronicles of the Diasodz)

  2. Not sure what I’m going to read. I love historical romances. Have a few my mother passed on, will go through and decide. Like you, my plans for the season are to catch up on my reading. Not only do I enjoy reading, but I feel as if I’m accomplishing something. The more we read the better writers we become. Hope you and your family have a great Christmas season 🙂
